Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien has just signed Decision No. 2469 on organizing the "National Concentrated Promotion Program 2025 - Vietnam Grand Sale 2025". The program will take place from December 1, 2025 to January 18, 2026 nationwide, combining both traditional and e-commerce forms.

According to this decision, localities will base on the actual situation to develop a focused promotion plan, ensuring adherence to the general direction, while promoting creativity to create a widespread impact in the business community. This is an important solution in the context of market demand showing signs of slowing down, requiring strong and timely stimulus policies.
The highlight of this year’s program is the synchronous participation of the entire supermarket system, shopping malls, e-commerce platforms and modern distribution networks. A series of discount, incentive and gift programs will be implemented, helping consumers access quality goods at reasonable prices.
For businesses, this is not only an opportunity to increase sales, but also an opportunity to reposition the brand, expand distribution channels and prepare for the peak shopping season at the end of the year. Synchronization from organization to communication also helps the focused promotion program become a commercial event of stature, contributing to promoting domestic consumption, an important pillar of national economic growth.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade requires the Department of Industry and Trade of provinces and centrally-run cities to take the lead and coordinate with relevant units to organize concentrated promotional programs in the locality. The departments need to proactively develop detailed plans, report to the People's Committees of provinces and cities for approval, and at the same time connect with industry associations, businesses, and distribution systems to ensure dissemination.
The Trade Promotion Agency coordinates with the functional departments and agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to monitor, summarize the situation, and promptly resolve problems arising during the implementation process. The press agencies of the industry and trade sector are assigned to accompany the communication and wide promotion to bring the program closer to the people and businesses.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade also requires localities to report on implementation results, clearly stating the number of participating businesses, promotional value, sales efficiency and consumer feedback. This is an important basis for assessing the impact of the program, drawing lessons and proposing solutions for improvement in the following years.
In the context of Vietnam's efforts to recover the economy after many fluctuations, the implementation of the national concentrated promotion program shows the determination of the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade in accompanying businesses and people. This policy not only has the meaning of short-term stimulus, but is also a strategic step to strengthen market confidence, creating momentum for sustainable production and business development.
