On January 19, at the District Cultural House, Yen Mo District People's Committee coordinated with Thien Tam Fund ( Vingroup Corporation); Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to organize the Lunar New Year Gift Giving Program 2024. Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended the Program.
Accordingly, over 300 poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in Yen Mo district received Tet gifts from the Program. Each gift is worth 600,000 VND. The meaningful gift was given before the New Year of the Dragon, contributing to supporting poor and disadvantaged households to have more conditions to celebrate Tet, enjoy a warm and full Spring.
Over the years, the work of visiting and giving gifts to poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances during holidays and Tet has always received the attention and close direction of the province; the attention and support of all levels, sectors, organizations, and individuals with kind hearts. For Yen Mo district, every year, about 3,000 poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances receive gifts on Tet with a total amount of nearly 2 billion VND.
Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup) is one of the units that actively accompanies and maintains the activities of giving Tet gifts to poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in Yen Mo district. Thereby, contributing to encourage and provide more resources and motivation for people in difficult circumstances in the district to celebrate the traditional Tet warmly and joyfully.

Nho Quan district currently has 1,202 poor households according to the poverty line, accounting for 2.57% of the total number of poor households in the district (down 2.14% compared to 2021); 1,424 near-poor households, accounting for 3.04% of the total number of households in the district (down 2.01% compared to 2021). Along with the social security policies of the Central Government, the province, the district and agencies, units, enterprises, and philanthropists inside and outside the district, there have been many charitable and humanitarian activities to take care of Tet for poor households and policy families.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation gave gifts to 380 poor households in difficult circumstances in 9 communes (Lang Phong, Yen Quang, Van Phong, Van Phuong, Van Phu, Ky Phu, Son Thanh, Thanh Lac, Thuong Hoa), worth 600 thousand VND/gift, helping families reduce difficulties when Tet comes and Spring comes.
At the program, comrade Bui Hoang Ha, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, presented gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances.
The meaningful gifts from Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation have given poor households more motivation to overcome difficulties and celebrate the traditional Tet holiday happily and warmly.
This is a practical and meaningful work of all levels, sectors and philanthropists who care for and look after poor households.
