The 3rd Ho Chi Minh City Orchid Festival - 2025, continues to spread and become an important practical activity in the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). At the same time, honoring the orchid brand and ornamental flower products as key products of the agricultural sector of Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities in the regions that have signed cooperation agreements on socio-economic development with Ho Chi Minh City. Connecting culture, tourism with urban agricultural development creates an ideal destination, an attractive tourist destination when coming to the City.

The Opening Ceremony took place at 8:00 a.m. on May 16 at Tao Dan Park - Truong Dinh Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of about 500 delegates.

This year's Ho Chi Minh City Orchid Festival has many new features compared to the previous two times, with the theme "Multi-colored Train" designed with inspiration from the two Thong Nhat trains departing at the same time, on the same day, December 31, 1976 at Hanoi and Saigon stations, opening the North-South railway line carrying the desire for peace, healing and reunion. The image of the North-South train attached to the Metro will be the main axis leading to special Train Stations connecting the past - present - future. Where visitors can experience the unique features of each region, the beauty of orchids from all over the country; at the same time, the design also carries the message of a Green City - Future City aiming for the goal of Net Zero to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve the quality of life for people, enhance public health and protect the environment.
With large and small landscapes showing the unique features of regions and the beauty of orchids from all over the country, the Festival attracted more than 200 units including cooperatives, gardeners, and artisans to participate in the exhibition, introduce orchids and orchid competitions. The total number of orchids participating in the exhibition in the miniature landscapes of all categories is 39,000 products, an increase of 35% compared to the 2nd Orchid Festival. Of which, units in Ho Chi Minh City provided 34,000 products, accounting for 87%, the remaining orchids were from the provinces: Lam Dong, Dak Lak...
