"German Career Coach" is a project within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam.

Under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, this ambitious project was initiated by the German Embassy in close cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Goethe-Instituts in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Delegate of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam).

The project aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of labor migration and expand access to international labor markets for young people in Vietnam.

Coming to Nghe An, the "German Career Orientation Bus" not only brings valuable opportunities for the young generation here to access information about internationaleducation and careers, but also recognizes the great potential of high-quality human resources of the province.

At the event, students and parents will have the opportunity to receive direct advice on issues that are often of concern when planning to study, learn a trade or work in Germany: Safe and legal labor migration to Germany; opportunities for vocational study in Germany or technical training according to German standards right in Vietnam; living and studying conditions in Germany, types of universities, scholarship opportunities; German language learning roadmap, necessary exams and certificates; dual vocational training programs and career opportunities in Germany for highly skilled workers.

In addition to in-depth consulting activities, the event offers interesting cultural experiences, helping the Vietnamese public get closer to Germany.

Participants can explore Germany through VR technology, learn about student life at top universities, enjoy typical cuisine and listen to authentic sharing from alumni who have been successful in Germany.

Previously, at the project launch ceremony on April 26 in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Minh Son, assessed the initiative as a "very creative idea".

He emphasized that, in the context of uneven development of vocational education in Vietnam, Germany's successful vocational education model plays an important role in building high-quality human resources.

German Ambassador to Vietnam Helga Margarete Barth shared: “The German Career Coach brings the spirit of modern Germany - a country with excellent education, advanced technology and many attractive career opportunities.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam, we wish to inspire and inform young people across the provinces and cities, and affirm that Germany always welcomes the talents, ideas and dreams of Vietnamese people today and in the future."

The project continues to affirm the German Government's commitment to promoting a model of close cooperation, linking schools - businesses - the state, with learners at the center.

The project also marks the first time in Vietnam that the German Government has brought consulting activities on studying, career, living in Germany as well as studying and training in German standards to Vietnam in a large-scale, mobile form, from North to South, through 16 provinces and cities with 19 stops.

After Nghe An, the bus will continue to Ha Tinh in early July with two stops at the Vietnam-Germany Technical College and the Ky Anh job exchange.

The "German Career Coach Tour" kicked off on April 26 in Hanoi and traveled through 16 provinces, cities and rural areas across the country before ending its journey in Ho Chi Minh City in November.

The project is deployed on a 12m long, 20-ton tractor with 10 solar panels providing green energy, helping to reduce emissions during transportation.

The vehicle also incorporates an outdoor stage system, equipped with interactive areas and learning materials, providing an engaging experience space for all visitors.
