Businesses expect a new generation of human resources with "Australian standard" skills and style

The launching ceremony marked the signing of cooperation between Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam and nearly 20 enterprises in Da Nang and neighboring provinces and cities. Mr. Bui Van Xuan - Executive Director of Leaf Village and Farm (Lang La) emphasized: “Many people think that attitude is the most important factor. But for me, in the digital age, knowledge and professional skills are the first priority. When students have a solid professional foundation, businesses can fully support them to supplement soft skills, learn from real work, from colleagues and society. That will help them quickly integrate and create value for the business. With Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam, it is the combination of the quintessence of international education with practical conditions in Vietnam, which will bring students a special learning experience. Students are both solid in knowledge, quick to access technology, and have cultural exchanges between Vietnam and the world. This is what businesses really expect, because young human resources will contribute to creating momentum for the labor market in the digital age.”

Mr. Bui Van Xuan’s viewpoint is also the wish of Nguyen Minh Tue – a student of the first class of Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam, Da Nang campus. Minh Tue was born and raised in Binh Dinh (now Gia Lai) and has long wanted to study in Australia but economic conditions did not allow it. She shared: “Studying an international program right in Da Nang is a great opportunity for me. Studying near home helps me save money, while still having access to modern knowledge and training methods like studying in Australia. In the future, I want to work in a national and international enterprise right in my hometown, so studying here will expand my development path, not only domestically. I hope to receive enthusiastic support and teaching from teachers to gain more solid knowledge, and at the same time practice the necessary skills for future work. I especially want to improve my English ability, confidence, as well as my presentation and public speaking skills. That is the reason I chose to become a student of the first course of this educational brand.”

Acknowledging the wishes and expectations of the first batch of new students, along with the interest of many people in Da Nang, Mr. Vu Hai Long - Director of Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam emphasized: "Da Nang is a livable city - a center of innovation and technology. We believe that establishing a campus here will bring students many opportunities to interact with businesses, as well as improve the competitiveness of local human resources, because one of the core values of Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam is to link training with businesses. We are currently a member of AusCham - the Australian Business Association in Vietnam - a "companion" of many large domestic and foreign corporations. Graduates of Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam have the opportunity to work at Australian businesses in Vietnam, the opportunity to work in Australia or work in the FPT Group ecosystem - a strategic partner of Melbourne Polytechnic"

Nearly 20 businesses from many different industries attended the launching ceremony and signed a cooperation agreement with Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam, Da Nang campus, opening a "dual training" mechanism - supporting students in studying, practicing, and training, while helping them develop their careers in line with the economic and social development trends of Da Nang in particular and of the times. Not simply an effort to expand the training network of a vocational education brand, this is proof of Da Nang's appeal on the national and international education map. Mr. Vu Chi Thanh - Principal of FPT Polytechnic College, Board of Directors of Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam shared, "Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam is an Australian standard College training program in Vietnam, has built its brand in two major markets, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, over the past many years and continues to receive the attention of many parents and students in many localities across the country. Therefore, when all favorable conditions are met, this year, we decided to bring Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam to two more prominent cities, Can Tho and Da Nang, in which, it can be said that there is no reason why a dynamic city with an international development orientation would not have the presence of this major educational brand. I think this is a valuable opportunity for many young people - future human resources - when we have been able to import the entire College training program according to Australian standards to Vietnam with strict processes in an effort to ensure efficiency and quality. of all teaching and training activities.

With a training model closely linked to businesses, belonging to the FPT Group ecosystem and being an active member of the Australian business community (AusCham), Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam's presence in Da Nang promises to contribute long-term benefits to students, businesses - to the economy and society of Da Nang in particular and the Central region in general.
