On October 27th, the 12th Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, held its 4th session to consider and approve important resolutions, including tuition fee support for 38,000 students in private schools in the province.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the state budget will not provide tuition fee support for preschool children, primary and secondary school students, and learners in general education programs at private and non-governmental educational institutions in the province.

Therefore, this resolution was passed to support students in private schools in the province starting from the 2025-2026 school year.
The Gia Lai Provincial People's Council has approved a tuition fee support rate for preschool children, primary and secondary school students, and learners in general education programs at private and non-private educational institutions, equal to the tuition fee rate for public preschool and primary education institutions, starting from the 2025-2026 school year.
Specifically, the support level for each student across the four levels of education in urban areas is 300,000 VND/month, in rural areas it ranges from 100,000 to 200,000 VND, and in ethnic minority and mountainous regions it ranges from 50,000 to 100,000 VND.

The estimated cost for tuition fee support for 38,000 students in private schools is approximately 75 billion VND.

Currently, there are approximately 38,000 students in private schools across all four levels of education in the province: preschool, primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary. The estimated cost for tuition support for these students is nearly 75 billion VND.
