Tuition support for 38,000 non-public students in Gia Lai

About 38,000 non-public students at all levels in Gia Lai will receive tuition support ranging from 50,000 - 300,000 VND per month/student.

On October 27, the 12th term People's Council of Gia Lai province, term 2021-2026, held the 4th session to review and approve important resolutions, including tuition support for 38,000 non-public students in the area.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the state budget has not yet supported tuition fees for preschool children, high school students, and students of general education programs in private educational institutions in the province.

Gia Lai Provincial People's Council reviewed and approved a resolution to support tuition fees for 38,000 non-public students.

Therefore, this resolution was passed to support non-public students in the province from the 2025-2026 school year.

The Gia Lai Provincial People's Council has approved the tuition support level for preschool children, high school students, and students of general education programs in private and non-public educational institutions equal to the tuition level for public preschool and general education institutions from the 2025-2026 school year.

Specifically, the support level for each student of 4 levels in urban areas is 300,000 VND/month, in rural areas from 100,000 - 200,000 VND, in ethnic minority and mountainous areas from 50,000 - 100,000 VND.

Estimated tuition support budget for 38,000 non-public students is about 75 billion VND.

Currently, the province has about 38,000 non-public students at all four levels of education including preschool, primary, middle and high school. The estimated budget to support tuition fees for these students is nearly 75 billion VND.
