Hundreds of mountain bikers will gather at the IRCtire Cup 2025.

Following the unexpected success of its inaugural season in Hoa Binh in 2024, the IRCtire Cup quickly built trust and became one of the most anticipated events in the mountain biking community. Continuing to provide a healthy playing field, this tournament attracted strong interest thanks to its increased scale and clearly demonstrated professionalism in its organization.

The route and competition categories are full of excitement.

The IRCTire Cup 2025 is organized in the format of an Olympic Cross-Country Race (XCO). The race takes place on a diverse terrain course created by the organizers at Son Tien Tourist Area, Dong Nai, captivating racers with its hills, rocky slopes, and numerous winding dirt and rock sections. Racers need not only excellent physical fitness but also skillful handling of situations and expert vehicle control.

The organizers designed the race course with a full range of terrain: seemingly insurmountable steep inclines, sudden sharp turns, and narrow, rocky trails. Each obstacle was a test of skill, forcing riders to devise sound strategies to conserve energy and accelerate at the right moment. The drama reached its climax with spectacular sprints, steep descents, and a nail-biting race to the finish line.

The tournament has contributed to raising awareness and encouraging people to use bicycles more often, promoting a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

The tournament is divided into 5 age categories, ensuring fairness and high competitiveness: Young men (15-30 years old) and middle-aged men (31-45 years old): Competing on a 28.0km course, a true test of endurance and speed. Senior men (46 years and older), young women (under 40 years old), and senior women (41 years and older): Competing on an exciting 21.2km distance.

Notably, this season marks the expansion of the IRCTire Cup 2025 with the addition of two new categories. For the first time, the organizers have created a safe and engaging competition category specifically for KID athletes aged 9-15, aiming to nurture talent and develop the young mountain biking community. Furthermore, the tournament also offers a special prize for athletes competing with IRC Tires – a category designed to allow athletes to directly test and confirm the superior quality of the product on a real race track.

As scheduled, the tournament officially opened at 7:00 AM on December 14th. The first prize in the women's category went to athlete Ton Hoang Khanh Lan. Meanwhile, the men's categories saw intense competition among the senior, middle-aged, and junior male groups. First prizes were awarded to Nguyen Van Nghia, Ho Phuoc Nghia, and Nguyen Thanh Dien, respectively. Tran Thanh Tung, the first to finish in the KID race, won the championship trophy.

All proceeds from the sale of athletes' BIBs were donated by the organizers to support people in Central Vietnam affected by floods and storms, totaling nearly 30 million VND. This activity demonstrates the tournament's social responsibility, while also spreading the values of sharing, community bonding, and the humanitarian significance that IRCtire Cup aims for alongside its sporting activities.
