Vietnam U23 team changes training ground again.
On the afternoon of December 14th, the Vietnam U23 team once again changed training grounds, conveniently on two consecutive days before the men's football semi-final at the 33rd SEA Games. A positive point is that the Look E-san stadium is about 8 km from the hotel. As before, coach Kim Sang-sik had the team depart early at 3:20 PM to avoid traffic congestion.
Upon entering the pitch, Coach Kim Sang-sik immediately dribbled the ball around to inspect the grass. The grass at Look E-san seemed fairly good, but still inferior to the team's training ground on December 12th. Despite this, Coach Kim Sang-sik didn't seem too disappointed, as the most important training session had been completed.
After the usual warm-up, the coach born in 1976 divided his players into three groups for a game of "keep-away." The difference this time was that the South Korean coach didn't stand on the sidelines observing, but unexpectedly joined in.

Watching it reveals why Kim has such a massive collection of K-League and South Korean domestic league titles. Smooth, refined, and effective, the former legendary midfielder of Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors showcased his masterful one-touch ball control using every part of his body – feet, chest, head…
Coach Kim Sang-sik's superb technique immediately livened up the Vietnamese U23 players, who enthusiastically responded by increasing the difficulty with low and high passes. In one instance, Coach Kim even showcased his skill by repeatedly taking one-touch passes without looking to either side, leaving his players amazed.
With just a small adjustment, Coach Kim easily relieved some of the remaining tension among his players. The warm-up lasted twice as long as usual, which helped the whole team enter the subsequent split-up session with enthusiasm.

Midfielder Nguyen Thai Son displayed powerful runs. In the previous match, he, along with Quoc Cuong and Xuan Bac, completely dominated the midfield, making it almost impossible for the U23 Malaysia team to play the ball.
