
On the seventh day of official competition at the 33rd SEA Games, 10 out of 22 sports entered the finals, opening up many opportunities for the Vietnamese sports delegation to compete for gold medals.
Athletics continues to be a key focus of expectations, with a host of key athletes competing in crucial events such as high jump, long jump, 3,000m steeplechase, 10,000m, 800m, and the men's and women's 4x400m relays. In addition, canoeing and rowing also promise high achievements, with many Vietnamese teams participating in the finals.
In kickboxing, three fighters, Hoang Thi Thuy Giang, Nguyen Quang Huy, and Nguyen Dinh Minh Khue, advanced to the finals, and are expected to bring home gold medals for Vietnamese sports.
In addition, on December 16th, many other competitions such as bowling, chess, road cycling, esports, fencing, clay pigeon shooting, triathlon, weightlifting, and tug-of-war will also take place, promising a vibrant day of competition at the 33rd SEA Games.
