Vietnam has two teams participating in the Southeast Asian Cup 1 this season. CAHN Club is in Group A with defending champions Buriram United, BG Pathum United, Selangor, Cebu and Tampines Rovers. Nam Dinh Club is in Group B, with Bangkok United, Johor Darul Ta'zim, Lion City Sailors, Shan United and Svay Rieng.
