Regarding the case of TVV (15 years old, 9th grade student, Hung Thuy Secondary School, Le Thuy District, Quang Binh ) being beaten by a group of people, having to go to Hue Central Hospital for emergency treatment and missing the 10th grade entrance exam, Mr. Ho An Phong, Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee, on September 22 shared about the special treatment.

According to Mr. Phong, to consider special admission for V. (to grade 10), we need to be very careful, considering whether the moral qualities as well as the academic results at secondary school are guaranteed or not. "If guaranteed and Le Thuy district has a proposal, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province and the provincial education sector will be ready to grant special admission. But if not guaranteed, we also need to recalculate to create fairness with all other students. According to the information I have from the press, this student's academic results are not very good," said Mr. Phong.

According to Mr. Phong, although this is just an individual, the province is still concerned because it is also a status, whether to continue studying or not is very important to a person. "We will re-examine and resolve the rights carefully and reasonably in this case," Mr. Phong emphasized.

Previously, as Thanh Nien Newspaper reported, on June 3, TVV went to a farewell party at the end of the school year and got into a fight. Afterwards, V. was beaten by a group of friends and had to be transferred to Hue Central Hospital for treatment. The incident also caused V. to miss the 10th grade exam in Quang Binh (which took place on June 7). The family said that V. had been beaten by his friends many times before.

Regarding the incident, the Le Thuy District Party Committee's Inspection Committee requested the collective and individuals at Hung Thuy Secondary School to seriously review and learn from experience because there were no effective and strong enough solutions to thoroughly and fundamentally resolve the issue of some grade 9 students in the school having conflicts, quarrels, and beatings many times. At the same time, they did not promptly report to the Party Committee and People's Committee of Hung Thuy commune to direct the resolution, creating negative public opinion among the masses.
