On the afternoon of April 27, the Sayangva festival took place at the Cultural House of Ruong Lon Quarter (Bao Vinh Ward, Long Khanh City, Dong Nai Province). This was the second time the festival was held with many interesting activities, attracting hundreds of locals and tourists to attend.

Sayangva is a traditional festival to honor the harvest, solidarity and unique cultural values of the Cho Ro ethnic group - living mainly in the southeastern provinces of Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. This is a preserved activity, expressing gratitude to ancestors, gods and praying for a new year of favorable weather.

Compared to the previous year, this year's festival is considered to be larger in scale. From early afternoon, parades, folk dances and traditional games took place. Notably, the Sayangva drum performance created a lively atmosphere, attracting people.

In addition to the space decorated with flags and flowers, the organizers also prepared food stalls, introducing specialties such as Sayangva cake, purple sticky rice, etc. In addition, the contest "Most beautiful Sayangva costume" also received a lot of support from many people.
The program ended at 7 p.m. the same day with the flower lantern releasing ceremony, sending wishes for peace and prosperity for the coming year. Village elder Mai Van Luong said the festival not only preserves traditional cultural beauty but also strengthens the neighborhood relationship in the community.
