Vin stocks break out, VN-Index reverses and increases sharply at the end of the session

On September 11, the Vietnamese stock market made a spectacular turnaround. VN-Index opened the morning session in red as selling pressure spread. At the end of the afternoon session, demand increased from pillar stocks, especially Vin stocks, pushing VN-Index up again. At the end of the session, VN-Index increased by 14.49 points to 1,657.75 points.

Market liquidity increased compared to yesterday's session, with total trading volume on the three floors reaching more than 1,456 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND40,284 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell on all 3 floors more than 1,294 billion VND, focusing on codes SSI (246.23 billion VND), MSB (165.16 billion VND), MWG (163.63 billion VND),SHB (109.47 billion VND), VIX (91.59 billion VND)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included VHM (131.49 billion VND), TCB (117.3 billion VND), GEX (79.87 billion VND), HDG (67.84 billion VND), TPB (63.87 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 34,636 billion VND.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by more than 14.55 points included: VIC, VHM, LPB, MWG, VNM, STB, HPG, HVN, GVR, MSN.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 2.62 points include: TCB, MBB,ACB , VPB, VIX, VCB, MSB, VND, OCB, HDB.

In terms of industry groups, this session, software stocks leaned towards green, up 0.74%, mainly fromFPT , ELC, CMT... Some codes decreased including ITD, HPT, SBD...

The group of securities stocks performed negatively, down 0.42%, mainly from codes VIX, VND, SHS, MBS, HCM, FTS, BSI, TVS, AAS, BVS... On the contrary, the codes that increased included VCI, FUEVFVND, DSE, CTS, E1FVN30, VSD, ORS, DSC, AGR...

This session, the majority of banking stocks were green, with an increase of 0.04%, mainly from CTG, LPB, STB, VIB, SSB, TPB, EIB... The few codes that decreased included VCB, BID, TCB, VPB, MBB, ACB, HDB...

The real estate stock group this session recorded an increase of 2.53%, mainly from codes VIC, VHM, VRE, BCM, KDH, KBC, DXG, KSF... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included SSH, NVL, NLG, TCH, IDC, SNZ, SZC...

Energy stocks traded mainly in red and closed down 0.25%, mainly from codes BSR, PLX, PVS, OIL, PVT, PVC, CLM, CST... Some codes increased including PVD, PVP, TMB, VIP, POS, PVB, COM...

Insurance stocks this session were mostly green, up 0.62%, mainly from codes BVH, PVI, VNR, MIG, ABI... Some codes decreased including BIC, BMI, PGI, PRE...

* The Vietnamese stock market index today had a mixed performance, VNXALL-Index closed up 26.22 points (+0.93%), to 2,858.49 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 1,316.44 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 38,081.89 billion. In the whole market, there were 191 stocks increasing in price, 97 stocks remaining unchanged and 169 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 274.18 points, down 0.42 points (-0.15%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 120.48 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND2,798.87. In the whole market, 72 stocks increased in price, 70 stocks remained unchanged, and 69 stocks decreased in price.

The HNX30 index closed down 5.99 points (-0.99%) to 598.31 points. Trading volume reached over 89.38 million units, equivalent to over VND2,384.86 billion. In the whole market, there were 12 stocks increasing in price, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 14 stocks decreasing in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 110.1 points, down 0.27 points (-0.24%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 64.59 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over VND 858.45 billion. In the whole market, there were 107 stocks increasing in price, 112 stocks remaining unchanged and 122 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 14.49 points (+0.88%) to 1,657.75 points. Liquidity reached over 1,271.91 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over VND36,626.97 billion. The entire floor had 163 stocks increasing, 63 stocks remaining unchanged and 152 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 26.45 points (+1.45%) and stopped at 1,855.08 points. Liquidity reached more than 550.17 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of more than VND 19,623.49 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 20 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 8 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are HPG (over 71.78 million units), NKG (over 38.69 million units), TPB (over 33.07 million units), CII (over 31.47 million units), DIG (over 21.4 million units).
