(NLDO) - VNeID provides 5 new services, including digital signature certificates, banking services, e-wallets, buying airline tickets and looking up electricity usage information.

Recently, the VNEID electronic identification application has updated many new features and services to improve user experience and better serve the community.

Regarding the digital signature certificate feature, according to Decree 23/2025 regulating electronic signatures and trust services, public digital signature certification service is a service provided by an organization providing public digital signature certification services to authenticate the digital signature subject on the data message, ensure the non-repudiation of the signatory subject with the data message and ensure the integrity of the signed data message.

To use this service, people need to log in to the VNeID application, select "Other services" and select "Digital signature certificate".

After entering the password, the user clicks on the digital signature certificate registration box and selects one of the issuers: SDS, CA2, Viettel Mysign, VNPT SmartCA or MISA .

This service package is free for 12 months.

The VNeID application also provides banking services. People can register for payment accounts at National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB), Loc Phat Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( LPBank ), Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank) and Vietnam Public Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PVcomBank).

In addition, people can also open a credit card at Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( VIB ) via the app.

How to use banking services on VNeID

In addition to banking services, the application also supports e-wallet registration. People just need to select "Other Services", select e-wallet, and click to register for e-wallets of units such as EPAY and GTELPAY.

In particular, the VNeID application also provides the feature of buying airline tickets and checking in online for flights of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet. Users just need to select the "Airline Services" section and follow the instructions.

However, please note that Vietnam Airlines currently only supports devices using the iOS operating system.

Finally, people can look up their electricity consumption and the amount to be paid through the VNeID application. To look up, simply select " Other services", then select "Look up electricity usage information", enter the required information and the system will return the results.

However, according to the record, the operation on the application sometimes has errors.
