Miss Ngoc Diem and her daughter Ho Ngoc Nam Phuong (commonly known as Chiko) attracted attention with a photo shoot in white ao dai. Ngoc Diem said she and her daughter wanted to participate in the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival.
The mother and daughter chose to wear white ao dai because this is the outfit associated with many generations of Vietnamese women. In addition, Ngoc Diem wanted to take photos with her daughter because she will soon be studying abroad in the US.
Ngoc Diem's daughter's beauty quickly received the attention of the audience. She also performed with her mother as the first face of designer Viet Hung's collection at the Ao Dai Festival in Ho Chi Minh City.
Chiko was born in 2010 and is currently studying at an international school in Ho Chi Minh City. Although she is only 14 years old, she is 1m70 tall.
Ngoc Diem commented that her daughter has a rather sensitive personality. When she was in 4th grade, she tended to be withdrawn, quiet and did not like showbiz. However, as she grew older, Chiko became a happy girl and began to like showbiz.
Currently, in addition to school time, Chiko learns martial arts, attends a child modeling class and actively participates in sports and art activities...
"Chiko has been studying in an international environment since he was young, so his mindset is to respect other people's space and privacy. He is always proactive in everything and respects his mother's decisions," Ngoc Diem said.
The beauty queen shared that her daughter also loves traditional cultural values of Vietnam and other countries such as ao dai, traditional costumes, classical music, opera, musicals...
Since childhood, Chiko was taken by her mother to attend entertainment events, so she soon became familiar with the camera lens. She also tried her hand at being a child model, performing in several fashion shows.
Ngoc Diem said that although her daughter has participated in many fashion shows, she has no intention of entering showbiz. The beauty queen wants her daughter to develop naturally and choose to pursue her own dreams.
Ngoc Diem was born in 1987 and was a national excellent student in Geography. She was admitted to 3 universities and graduated from Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Trade University. Ngoc Diem was crowned Miss Tourism Vietnam 2008 and represented Vietnam in the Miss Tourism World pageant that same year.
After giving birth in 2010, she opened a media company and switched to being a bilingual English-Vietnamese MC. Currently, Ngoc Diem invests in many fields.
Regarding her personal life, Ngoc Diem is currently in a relationship after many years of being a single mother.
