Working overtime, including evenings and holidays.

These days, at the administrative procedures reception and processing department of the Lam Dong Provincial Police, the number of students aged 6-14 coming to apply for citizen identification cards and electronic identification accounts has increased significantly. The working atmosphere is always urgent and serious, yet still ensures order and efficiency .

To meet the needs of the people during the peak period, the Public Security Police force proactively implemented many comprehensive solutions.

From the initial reception stage, the process of sorting and guiding documents is organized systematically, minimizing congestion and shortening waiting times. Officers and soldiers have arranged flexible working hours, including evening shifts and holidays, to ensure the timely processing of documents. A sense of responsibility and dedicated service is evident in every aspect of the work.

Officers and soldiers implemented a scientific approach to document processing right from the initial reception and guidance stage to minimize waiting times for parents and students. In addition to ensuring timely completion, the police force also paid special attention to the quality of service, especially for young students. Many students were unfamiliar with administrative procedures for the first time, but thanks to the dedicated and thoughtful guidance of the officers, the process went smoothly.

Hoang Tran Tieu Vy, a student at Thang Long Specialized High School in Da Lat, said: "There were a lot of people applying for ID cards, but the police officers were very helpful and friendly, so we felt very happy and comfortable."

Enhancing the role of grassroots police forces.

Along with provincial-level forces, the police in communes, wards, and special zones throughout Lam Dong province have actively participated, making a significant contribution to reducing pressure on higher-level authorities.

Working closely with the community, commune-level police forces proactively review and compile lists of students within the eligible age range, coordinating with schools and local authorities to disseminate information and encourage parents to bring their children to obtain citizen identification cards and register for electronic identification accounts within the stipulated timeframe.

Many localities have flexibly organized mobile document collection points right at their facilities, creating favorable conditions for people living far from administrative centers. At the same time, commune-level police officers directly guide people in filling out information and preparing complete documents before they come to complete the procedures, thereby significantly shortening the processing time at the reception department.

In addition, local police forces actively support people in installing, activating, and using electronic identity verification accounts, especially for parents who are unfamiliar with digital technology. This hands-on guidance right in the residential area not only helps people easily access the service but also enhances its effectiveness after being granted an account.

According to statistics, during the peak period from April 10th to May 10th, the Lam Dong Provincial Police issued citizen identification cards to nearly 65,000 individuals and provided electronic identification accounts to over 71,000 individuals.

In total, over 136,000 cases were processed within one month, a figure that demonstrates the enormous workload accomplished by the authorities. This result is clear evidence of the efforts and determination of the Public Security Police force in effectively implementing Government Project 06, making a significant contribution to the national digital transformation process.

"Recognizing this as an important political task, the officers and soldiers have made efforts to work overtime, always maintaining proper etiquette, conduct, and a standard attitude, and are dedicated to carrying out their assigned duties," said Lieutenant Colonel Vo Xuan Binh, Deputy Head of the Administrative Police Department for Social Order, Lam Dong Provincial Police.

Issuing citizen identification cards and electronic identity accounts to children aged 6 to under 14 not only effectively serves population management but also has long-term significance in building a foundation for digital citizenship.

This is an important step in fostering the habit of using digital services and raising awareness of digital transformation from a young age, even among students. Furthermore, electronic identification contributes to increased transparency and security in online transactions, effectively supporting areas such as education, healthcare, and social welfare.
