On the morning of May 26, information from the Provincial Police said that after the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 220/CD-TTg dated April 5, 2023 on removing difficulties and obstacles in fire prevention and fighting, many karaoke service businesses in Thanh Hoa province showed signs of resuming operations.
Karaoke service business is open without ensuring fire prevention conditions.
Implementing the direction of the Provincial Police Director on organizing the supervision and suspension of karaoke service establishments in the whole province, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of the Provincial Police and the Police of districts, towns and cities have established Working Groups to supervise and inspect karaoke service establishments that do not ensure fire prevention and fighting safety conditions but are still open to welcome guests.
Accordingly, the Working Group of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police has just coordinated with Thanh Hoa City Police to conduct a surprise inspection of Seoul karaoke service business located at Au Co Street, Dong Ve Ward, Thanh Hoa City; at the time of inspection, it was discovered that the business had 3 rooms with about 30 customers using the service. The Working Group requested the business to stop operating and drew up a record of administrative violations for the act of "Failure to properly and fully maintain security and order conditions during business operations" in violation of Point a, Clause 3, Article 12 of Decree 144/2021/ND-CP; the fine is from 5 to 10 million VND.
To continue to comply with the law on security and order in the whole province, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police recommends: Karaoke service businesses are not allowed to operate without ensuring regulations and safety conditions on fire prevention and fighting. People are requested not to use karaoke services at businesses that do not ensure safety conditions on fire prevention and fighting.
