According to the Deputy Minister, the project to develop a system of excellent training centers and talents in technology 4.0 by 2030 aims to form "leading nuclei" - strategic alliances between universities and businesses in each key technology field.

This model brings together outstanding Vietnamese and international minds, shares laboratories, recognizes each other's credits, creates conditions for students and lecturers to access new technologies and practical problems, thereby promoting research, application and transfer.

He affirmed that international experience shows that only when schools, businesses and the State cooperate closely can a sustainable innovation ecosystem be built. The State creates institutions and operating mechanisms; schools are the center connecting training and research; businesses play the role of a bridge between the market and application.

"It is expected that the networks of excellent training centers and talents in Industry 4.0 technology will be effective, becoming bright spots leading the science, technology, innovation system and training excellent human resources for the country," Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc emphasized.

Regional training connection

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Thinh, University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) - the host of the artificial intelligence and semiconductor technology network in the Southern region, said that the general goal of the network is to develop in-depth AI training and research capacity, increase high-quality human resources, and spread knowledge and AI training standards to universities and colleges in the region.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Tran Ngoc Thinh, the network will deploy a regional AI framework program - a set of basic and specialized curriculum, flexibly adjusted according to the characteristics of each school.

In parallel, we train resource lecturers through short-term training courses and intensive semesters, as well as organize AI inter-school classes (combining online and in-person) with multi-school group projects, helping students practice practical working skills and develop interdisciplinary strengths.
