The 20 female award-winning students are not only excellent students, but also affirm the intelligence and aspirations of a new generation of female intellectuals who are confident, ambitious and ready to conquer the pinnacle of knowledge.

Top 20 female students received the Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award 2025.

On October 15, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union announced the list of 20 outstanding female students who won the Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award 2025.

Information Technology: 3 female students; Computer Science: 2 female students; Mechanical Engineering: 2 female students; Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering: 6 female students; Chemical, Materials, Metallurgical and Environmental Technology: 5 female students; Applied Biology: 1 female student; Architectural and Construction Engineering Technology: 1 female student.

The 20 female students receiving the 2025 award all have excellent academic achievements: Many students have articles published in prestigious domestic and international magazines, conferences and seminars, many female students participate in highly practical school-level scientific research topics, many female students win high prizes in innovation competitions, domestic and international Olympic competitions, and receive scholarships and study exchange programs at home and abroad.

The award-winning individuals are often exemplary union members who actively participate in volunteer activities for the community, receive certificates of merit at all levels such as: January Star Award, 5 Good Students; exemplary youth studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings; and are excellent union and association officials at school, provincial and central levels.

The 20 female students who won the award are not only excellent students, but also an affirmation of the intelligence and aspirations of a new generation of female intellectuals who are confident, ambitious and ready to conquer the heights of knowledge, contributing every day to building a strong science and technology foundation, creating momentum for Vietnam to develop and integrate globally.

Each female student who won the Prize was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, an Award symbol and a cash prize of 5 million VND.

According to the organizing committee, in 2025, the number and quality of applications for the award will increase sharply, which increasingly affirms the prestigious position of the Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award and the clear progress of female students in studying and researching, affirming female capacity in science and technology fields that are inherently challenging.

The Vietnam Female Science and Technology Award, formerly known as the “Award for Outstanding Female Students in the Field of Information Technology”, is organized annually by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology, starting in 1997 to honor female students with outstanding academic and research achievements in specific fields of science and technology, contributing to the training of high-quality female science and technology staff for the country.

In 2025, the Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award will continue to be deployed and widely launched to 152 universities and academies nationwide with training majors in the fields of award selection.

After more than 2 months, the award's standing unit has received 176 applications on the gtns.tainangviet.vn Award registration system from 45 universities and academies nationwide. The number of valid applications in 2025 is 130, an increase of 56.63% (47 applications) compared to 2024./.
