Vietnam Trade Union promotes implementation of Resolution of the 1st Congress, term 2025-2030

On August 29 in Hanoi, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a training conference to disseminate the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the General Confederation of Labor Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor chaired the conference.

The conference is considered to be of great significance in quickly putting the Resolution of the 1st Congress into practice. This is the first step to unify awareness, will and action throughout the Party, creating new momentum for the development of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Thereby, the team of cadres and party members grasp the basic content, methods and implementation skills, turning the Resolution into a specific emulation movement in each unit, aiming to successfully achieve the set goals and tasks.

At the conference, Secretary of the General Confederation of Labor Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Khang conveyed three major groups of contents. The first was to thoroughly grasp the key contents of the Resolution of the 1st General Confederation of Labor Party Congress, term 2025-2030. The second was to provide information on the 12th Central Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee. The third was to inform about the results of the implementation of the Central Committee's policies, resolutions and conclusions in the past time.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang emphasized that each Party Committee, cadre and Party member needs to fully absorb the spirit of the Resolution, creatively apply it to their work, and at the same time concretize it into an action program suitable to the conditions of their agencies and units. Based on the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the General Confederation of Labor Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the General Confederation of Labor Party Committee has developed an Action Program to concretize the goals, targets, tasks and solutions; thereby serving as a basis for the branches and Party Committees under them to organize synchronous implementation, ensuring feasibility and effectiveness.

According to the orientation, the implementation of the Action Program must link Party building work with leadership in implementing political tasks of the Vietnam Trade Union system. This is also a process to contribute to building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class in the new era.

The Secretary of the General Confederation Party Committee requested the Standing Committee of the General Confederation Party Committee to issue a specific annual plan, assigning clear tasks to each cadre and party member; at the same time, organize mid-term and end-term summaries and promptly reward outstanding collectives and individuals. The branches and subordinate party committees must concretize the Action Program in accordance with the actual situation, linked to professional tasks and periodically report to the General Confederation Party Committee.

In the inspection and supervision work, the Inspection Committee of the General Confederation of Labor Party Committee will develop a comprehensive inspection plan and increase surprise inspections when necessary, ensuring the implementation of the Resolution is synchronous and effective.
