Publicly announce the results of the index set serving people and businesses in May

Evaluation results according to the index set of serving people and businesses in performing administrative procedures and providing public services in May 2024 (updated June 4, 2024), Lao Cai province ranked 14/63 provinces and cities.

The Office of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 723/VPUBND-KSTT dated June 4, 2024 on publicizing the results of the index set for serving people and businesses in May 2024. The Office of the People's Committee of the province publicly announced the above results to agencies and units, thereby promoting the achieved results and overcoming the criteria with low rates.

Lao Cai is in the group of provinces and cities with good quality of public service administration in administrative procedure implementation and public service provision.

Accordingly, based on the results on the National Public Service Portal (https://dichvucong.gov.vn); in the section "Results of evaluating the set of indexes serving people and businesses of ministries, branches and localities", the Office of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province publicly announced the results of the component index groups according to the set of indexes serving people and businesses in May 2024 of the province specifically: As of June 4, 2024, the total score of Lao Cai province reached 79.66/100 points, ranking 14/63 provinces and cities (this data may change over time).

Regarding the ranking of the index set according to Decision No. 766/QD-TTg for the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in May 2024: The People's Committee of Bat Xat district achieved 87.75 points, an increase of 1.01 points compared to the same period in April 2024, rising to rank 1/9 districts, towns and cities. The People's Committee of Van Ban district is the locality with the deepest decrease in points compared to April 2024, reaching 82.48 points (April 2024 reached 86.94 points), ranking at the bottom of the ranking, 9/9 districts, towns and cities.

Regarding some component criteria in the index set for serving people and businesses of departments, branches, sectors/District-level People's Committees/Commune-level People's Committees in May 2024: 11/29 departments, branches, sectors, districts, towns, and cities achieved a publicity and transparency rate of 100%; the rate of files processed on time and within the deadline reached 100% with 3 units including: Department of Finance, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee; 2 units with a rate of online payment files reaching 100% are the Department of Home Affairs and Department of Tourism ; 16/29 departments, branches, sectors, districts, towns, and cities achieved 100% in terms of satisfaction rate.

Lao Cai City People's Committee is the district-level unit with the highest number of records providing electronic certification services of copies from originals, reaching 31,976 records; followed by Van Ban District People's Committee, reaching 31,944 records.
