Exchange experiences, learn and support each other to have effective ways of organizing and implementing incident reduction, suitable for operational management conditions; evaluate operational management as well as advise and propose to the company's leaders to perfect regulations on design, construction, repair and operational management to ensure the transmission grid operates safely, reliably and effectively.

At each regional power transmission line, the working group conducted on-site inspections of 2-4 lines (lines that regularly operate at full load or have had incidents recently) and 2 transformer stations (that have had incidents recently), including inspections of operational management according to the procedures and directives of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), PTC3, records at the power transmission office, power transmission teams and transformer stations.

Incident prevention solutions have been established and implemented in practice under the direction of EVNNPT and PTC3; the contents of the Project to reduce grid incidents and improve power supply reliability in the period of 2021 - 2025 and under the direction of EVNNPT and PTC3; the implementation of the digital transformation plan and application of science and technology in the management and operation of power lines and transformer stations.

The Head of PTC3 Technical Department added that to ensure that the inspection work is carried out in accordance with the set objectives, the units under PTC3 must prepare a report to the working group with full documents related to operation management, safety, incident handling, route corridors, handling of existing problems and equipment defects, etc.

After the inspection, the units immediately held a meeting to review the experience and disseminate it to the entire unit to promptly adjust the operation, in accordance with the characteristics and scope of management, to ensure the safe operation of the transmission grid.

Conducting field inspections at units, PTC3 leaders also emphasized the need for units to focus all resources, leadership, direction, and operations to ensure power supply in the remaining months of 2023; in which, paying attention to strengthening monitoring of the operational situation, especially the 500 kV North-South connecting line, minimizing incidents occurring during the high-capacity transmission phase; reviewing and fully preparing incident handling plans, increasing the on-call force to operate/handle incidents for high-load lines and elements in extreme operating modes.
