At the conference, there were 12 comments and recommendations from voters, with more than 20 contents related to all levels and sectors; most of the comments and recommendations from voters were related to socio-economic fields, policies and regimes... related to the criteria for building Duyen Hai town to complete the status of a type IV urban area by the end of 2025 as set out in the resolution.
Voter Nguyen Van Do, Hamlet 17, Long Huu Commune affirmed: Duyen Hai town has the strength of aquaculture - this is an important economic sector, contributing to annual growth, positively impacting the completion of the criteria for a type IV urban area.

However, in recent years, farmers have faced many difficulties due to the imbalance between the price of materials for farming and the shrimp products of farmers. I hope that the National Assembly, the Government, the ministries and central agencies will have balanced solutions to stimulate the development of Tra Vinh's aquaculture industry.

Comrade Pham Minh Loi, Chairman of Long Huu Commune People's Committee, proposed to the Provincial People's Council 02 contents: (1) Resolution No. 03/2021/NQ-HDND dated March 19, 2021 of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Council promulgating regulations on policies to support the agricultural sector structure of Tra Vinh province in the period of 2021-2025, stipulating that raising 90 cows/farm is supported, proposing to adjust to 50 cows/farm. (2) The Provincial People's Committee considers early implementation of the 1,000ha Don field project, phase 2, according to the irrigation system project for aquaculture, including Long Huu commune, contributing to increasing income for Long Huu people in particular and Duyen Hai town in general.

Comrade Le Vu Khanh, Vice Chairman of Hiep Thanh Commune People's Committee informed that Hiep Thanh commune focuses on leading the implementation of new rural construction, mobilizing social resources and integrating state budget capital to build economic and social infrastructure associated with new rural construction. Up to now, the commune has achieved 18/19 advanced new rural criteria. At the same time, to aim to build the town to become a type IV urban area by the end of 2025, in the first 6 months of 2024, the commune focuses on developing the industry, thereby, it is estimated to reach 192.5 billion VND, reaching 52% of the plan, up 18.2% over the same period; the production value of the construction industry is estimated to reach 175.8 billion VND, reaching 54.4% of the plan, up 1.08% over the same period.

Chairman of Duyen Hai Town People's Committee, Nguyen Trong Nhan, explained and informed about some related contents, especially the advantages and difficulties in the roadmap for building a type IV urban area of Duyen Hai Town.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Duyen Hai town hopes that voters of the two communes in particular and Duyen Hai town in general will strive to compete in the task of improving the construction of new rural areas in association with building Duyen Hai town to become a type IV urban area. At the same time, the town has identified the potential of the marine economy, the Standing Committee of Duyen Hai Town Party Committee has issued a specialized resolution on tourism development of the town until 2030. This is an important legal basis to attract economic sectors to participate in tourism development.
In particular, the Resolution of the 3rd Town Party Congress identified “developing tourism and marine services to become one of the key economic sectors of the marine economy”. This is one of the important orientations that voters need to pay attention to.
Speaking to voters of Long Huu and Hiep Thanh communes, National Assembly delegate Tran Quoc Tuan highly appreciated the town's efforts in carrying out the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security. In particular, in the economic field, in recent years, with the spirit of solidarity and high political determination, the Party Committee, government and people of Duyen Hai town in general, including Long Huu and Hiep Thanh communes, have made efforts to realize the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee and the City Party Committee. Thereby, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development, gradually building the town to meet the standards of a type IV urban area.
National Assembly Delegate Tran Quoc Tuan informed about key central projects in the province in the coming time, including Duyen Hai town.
Duyen Hai town is identified as the economic development center of the Southeast region of the province with strengths in industry - services, trade and tourism. The town has proposed a number of key tasks and solutions: restructuring advantageous sectors and fields towards industry - trade, services - agriculture; focusing on developing the marine economy; aquaculture; taking the development of the marine economy as a driving force for socio-economic development; accelerating the pace of urbanization on the basis of sustainable development of the marine economy.
National Assembly Delegate Tran Quoc Tuan informed voters about the achievements in the province's economy, culture, national defense and security; the progress of some provincial projects in the province; and the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
With the achieved results and strategic plans of the province and Duyen Hai town, we believe that voters of Duyen Hai town will make efforts with the Party and the town government to complete the task of building Duyen Hai town to become a type IV urban area by the end of 2025.
