Information from the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Management Board said: In order to ensure the 9th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program in Lang Son province takes place smoothly, based on the results of the exchange and agreement with the People's Government of Bang Tuong City, Guangxi (China), the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board announces the temporary suspension of entry and exit, import and export activities through the customs clearance area of markers 1116-1117 and the dedicated road for transporting goods in the area of markers 1119-1120 of the Huu Nghi - Huu Nghi Quan international border gate pair according to the time (Hanoi time) specifically as follows:
Tuesday, April 15: 7am - 10am and 4:30pm - 5:30pm.
Wednesday, April 16: 7-9am and 12:30-2pm.
Thursday, April 17: 7-9am and 1-2pm.
The Management Board will preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Customs Sub-Department of Region VI and relevant agencies and units to closely contact the People's Government of Pingxiang City (China) to flexibly organize and coordinate entry and exit, import and export activities through the customs clearance area of landmarks 1116-1117 and the dedicated road for transporting goods in the area of landmarks 1119-1120 of the Huu Nghi - Huu Nghi Quan international border gate pair during the above period.
The functional forces at Huu Nghi international border gate proactively coordinate to disseminate information to organizations, individuals, and businesses operating ports to be proactive in entry, exit, import and export activities; coordinate with the corresponding functional forces on the Chinese side to organize and manage entry, exit, import and export activities at the border gate area, ensuring the organization of the 9th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program is safe and convenient; minimizing impacts on entry, exit, import and export of goods at the border gate.
