Shenzhen enterprises explore investment opportunities in Hai Phong

The working program on products and services of Shenzhen (China) enterprises in Hai Phong opens up many new cooperation opportunities between the two cities.

On the afternoon of October 15, at An Duong Industrial Park, Shen Viet Joint Investment Co., Ltd. coordinated with Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission (China) to organize a working program on Shenzhen enterprise products and services.

Speaking at the event, comrade Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, assessed that this promotion program has important significance in further promoting investment cooperation between the two cities of Hai Phong and Shenzhen.

Over the years, the Vietnam-China friendship has been continuously consolidated and developed comprehensively. In particular, 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, a special milestone for both sides to deepen their traditional friendship and expand substantive and effective cooperation.

Comrade Le Trung Kien informed the delegates about the development of Hai Phong city as the only locality in the country with double-digit growth for 10 consecutive years. During that process, Chinese enterprises in general and Shenzhen in particular have made positive contributions to the city's growth. After the merger, Hai Phong is now the city with the 3rd largest economy in the country.

In the near future, Hai Phong city will have a Free Trade Zone, with an area of ​​about 6,292 hectares with many outstanding incentive mechanisms and policies, synchronous infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for international enterprises to learn and invest. Hai Phong hopes that Chinese enterprises in general and Shenzhen in particular will learn and come to cooperate and invest in the near future.

Shenzhen enterprises expressed their desire to promote cooperation with Vietnam in general and Hai Phong in particular, especially in developing green and smart infrastructure, clean energy, AI applications in urban management, cross-border e-commerce and advanced manufacturing industry.

Within the framework of the program, typical Shenzhen enterprises will exhibit and directly present new technology products and services, thereby opening up business connection opportunities between enterprises of the two localities, contributing to promoting the friendship and investment cooperation between Hai Phong and Shenzhen to develop more deeply, substantially and effectively.
