Khanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department: Strengthening budget collection management

Khanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department has just implemented the contents according to Official Dispatch No. 2499 dated March 12, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening budget collection management, striving to complete the 2024 plan.

Accordingly, the Tax Department proactively coordinates with relevant departments, branches and sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to closely monitor the collection progress, analyze and forecast the situation and impacts on budget revenue in the area to identify potential revenue sources, areas with revenue potential, promptly advise on solutions for budget revenue management for the province, striving to complete the revenue estimate for 2024. The Provincial Tax Department directs tax branches to advise People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to implement new financial policies, focus on reviewing revenue sources to urge full and timely tax declaration and payment, prevent revenue loss for organizations and individuals in the area who declare and pay taxes inconsistently with actual business results; actively urge the handling of outstanding debts and tax debt collection. At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Construction and related units in districts, towns and cities to promote the exploitation of budget revenue from the sale of state-owned houses; Strengthen tax management for private housing construction projects, focusing on cases where construction contractors do not comply with tax laws.

In addition, the Tax sector continues to research and implement measures and solutions to strengthen tax management for tourism- related business activities; strengthen the inspection of taxpayers' use of electronic invoices; promote the implementation of electronic invoices generated from cash registers and electronic invoices for each sale for retail gasoline and oil businesses; strengthen the management of electronic stamps for domestically produced cigarettes and alcohol in the management area under the direction of the General Department of Taxation.
