On the afternoon of June 21, Emulation Cluster No. 3 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a conference to review emulation and reward work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

In the first 6 months of 2024, units in Emulation Cluster No. 3 organized movements associated with the emulation theme "Strongly promoting the pioneering role of foreign affairs, striving to build a strong, comprehensive, modern industry, dedicated to serving the Party, State and People" launched by the Minister of Foreign Affairs; at the same time, actively implementing the proposed foreign affairs tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the local socio -economic development plan.
Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs Tran Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Head of Emulation Cluster No. 3 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs delivered the opening speech at the conference.
The entire cluster has advised on procedures for sending 493 delegations with 1,668 people on business trips abroad; organized the reception of 650 international delegations with 5,051 people to visit and work in the province and city in accordance with regulations. Advised on the effective implementation of cooperation activities with Lao localities, especially provinces sharing the border, thereby contributing to strengthening and fostering the solidarity, closeness, and special friendship between Vietnam and Laos. Continued to effectively carry out the work of mobilizing foreign non-governmental aid to sponsor and support the implementation of more than 300 programs, projects and non-projects with a total committed budget of 37.970 million USD...

In addition, the units have done a good job of organizing international conferences, seminars and signing international agreements; promoting economic diplomacy activities; organizing cultural and artistic exchanges with localities; coordinating with foreign partners to organize activities to introduce and promote local partners...

At the conference, the units discussed and evaluated the achieved results, as well as the difficulties and limitations in the field of foreign affairs in the locality; at the same time, proposed remedial measures in the coming time.
Promoting the achieved results, the units in Emulation Cluster No. 3 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs set out a number of key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024, namely: Continuing to propagate and promptly and fully disseminate the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on foreign affairs and emulation and reward work. Strengthening the leadership role of the Party Committee/Party Committee, close coordination between the Party Committee/Party Committee, the government and mass organizations (Trade Union, Youth Union) to develop emulation movements more strongly and practically. Organizing and implementing well the emulation and reward work of the unit, emulation blocs in the province and Emulation Cluster No. 3 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Continuing to propagate and motivate civil servants, public employees and workers in the cluster to strive to compete and successfully complete the key work plans of the units in 2024.
