Let's pick up trash together to clean up the beautiful destination in Khe Sanh

Mr. Hoang Duc Truong Sinh - Vice President of HHR Club shared: "The day before, when I went to Tan Do Lake, I saw a lot of trash, so I called on the group to call on members to pick up trash together after the long run activity. Everyone supported immediately and on the morning of April 27, we picked up a lot of trash here together."

The amount of trash was too much to pick up, so on the afternoon of April 27, Mr. Truong Sinh and some HHR members returned to Tan Do Lake, combined with guiding some children who came to play here to pick up trash. “Through this work, we also hopeto educate the local young generation about environmental protection. This is a small but meaningful work of all members of the Club to join hands and contribute to a cleaner and more beautiful Khe Sanh,” said Mr. Sinh.

The HHR Club has 30 official members. In addition to organizing regular running activities to improve health, members come up with many ideas for the community. For example, in the past, HHR organized runs to disadvantaged areas and gave gifts to children. Each year, the Club usually organizes 2 to 3 major events for the community.

Tan Do Lake is located in the north of Khe Sanh town, one of the most beautiful irrigation lakes in Huong Hoa district. In addition to the water surface area, this place is surrounded by a system of decades-old pine forests, with beautiful mountain and hill scenery. The climate here is likened to Da Lat, so it becomes an ideal destination for sightseeing, especially at sunset.
