Because of his family's difficult circumstances, he has not been able to buy a bicycle, and his house is about 5 km away from school, so every time he goes to class, Nguyen Doan Thanh Truc, class 8B, Trieu Trung Primary and Secondary School, has to hitchhike or walk. This has somewhat affected his studies.

Receiving the bicycle from the support of Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund, she excitedly shared: “Without a bicycle, I encountered many obstacles in going to extra classes or participating in extracurricular activities at school. Now that I have received the bicycle, I am very happy because from now on I can actively go to school. I promise to try my best to study better to help my family and not let down the benefactors.”

According to Nguyen Thanh Phong, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Trieu Phong district, the whole district has 42 schools with 17,265 students. Of which, the percentage of students with especially difficult family circumstances, living far from school but without means of transportation accounts for about 40%.

Therefore, the bicycle donation program of Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund today is a very practical gift to help children have more conditions to go to school. We sincerely express our gratitude and deep thanks to the two units for their concern and support for the locality to reduce these difficulties.
