Opening the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung emphasized that over the past time, the system of Fatherland Fronts at all levels in the province has constantly innovated the content and methods of operation, promoted the central role in consolidating the strength of the great national unity bloc, effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements, large, practical campaigns with strong influence in social life. The system of Fatherland Fronts in the whole province has actively mobilized and connected social resources, coordinated with member organizations to promptly support people to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Up to now, the whole province has 7,147 poor and near-poor households; 2,374 families of people with revolutionary contributions have been and are being supported to build new and repair houses from state support and contributions from the whole society with a total cost of over 437 billion VND... In that meaningful and humane journey, there is always a strong mark of each cadre of the front and political-social organizations at the grassroots level.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has proactively propagated and mobilized people to agree on site clearance, resettlement... creating favorable conditions for implementing key projects of the country and the province, contributing significantly to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province and its members continue to clearly affirm their role as a "solid bridge" between the Party, the government and the people. The contents of social supervision and criticism are selected to closely match the political tasks of the province and each locality and are directly linked to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, receiving the attention and approval of all classes of people.

In that general achievement, there is an important and decisive contribution of the front cadres at all levels. The results of the continuous efforts in the front work of 801 residential areas, 119 communes, wards and towns in the whole province are a solid practical basis to affirm the results of the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province.

The advanced models that were honored are the pride of the Front system, a source of inspiration, a nucleus spreading the spirit of responsibility, compassion and dedication in community building activities, arousing the spirit of solidarity, prosperity, safety and happiness, actively contributing to building Quang Tri to become more and more sustainable, civilized and prosperous.

At the conference, representatives of advanced models shared good and creative ways of the grassroots front cadres in propaganda and mobilizing people to protect the environment, contributing to building civilized urban areas; Experience of the fronts at all levels in propaganda, mobilization, organizing social security activities, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and supporting the construction of solidarity houses for poor households...

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Fatherland Front at all levels and the efforts of the cadres working for the Front at the grassroots level in the past time. Especially in implementing patriotic emulation movements, major campaigns, the national emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households..., joining hands with the government and people to build an increasingly developed homeland. The Party and the State have been issuing many strategic economic policies; making efforts to streamline the apparatus, merge provinces, reduce intermediate administrative levels, and focus on the grassroots level to realize the aspiration for a prosperous and happy country.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang hopes that the staff working on the Front will continue to promote their role, responsibility and prestige, actively contribute their intelligence and enthusiasm to the cause of great national unity in the province, contributing to achieving the socio-economic development goals of the locality.

In order to honor and commend the Front cadres and heads of the Residential Area Front Work Committee who have made many contributions to the Front's work, on this occasion, 50 outstanding individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to 18 outstanding individuals for their outstanding achievements in the 2020 - 2025 period.
