Lao Cai: Coordinated collection of DNA samples for relatives of martyrs whose identities have not been determined

Implementing Plan No. 356/KH-BCA-C06 on the implementation of DNA sample collection for relatives of martyrs whose identities have not been determined, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order ( Ministry of Public Security ) and Lao Cai Provincial Police have coordinated with local police in the province to conduct a review of martyrs' relatives in the area, ensuring that the sample collection process takes place accurately and promptly.

The units organized 2 mobile sample collection teams, directly going to the homes of martyrs' relatives in communes of Muong Khuong, Bat Xat, Van Ban, Bao Yen districts... Thereby, 26 DNA samples of martyrs' relatives whose identities have not been determined were collected, adding them to the gene bank of unidentified martyrs.
