Astronomers Meet for a New Book About the Sky and the Stars

On July 15, the French Institute in Hanoi and Tri Thuc Publishing House organized a seminar on the Reunion of Astronomers to introduce the book Favorite Dictionary The Sky and the Stars by Professor Trinh Xuan Thuan.

The seminar was moderated by Prof. Chu Hao - former Director of Tri Thuc Publishing House with the participation of speakers: Dr. Pham Van Thieu, translator of the book Favorite Dictionary of the Sky and Stars ; Prof. Dr. Ha Huy Bang, Faculty of Physics - University of Science - Vietnam National University, Hanoi ; researcher, author, teacher Dang Vu Tuan Son, President of the Vietnam Astronomy and Cosmology Association (VACA).

The discussion will take place at 6:00 p.m. on July 15 at Room Paris II, French Institute in Hanoi (15 Thien Quang, Hanoi), answering questions about the sky and stars through the perspective of leading Vietnamese physicists and astronomers: Trinh Xuan Thuan, Pham Van Thieu, Pham Xuan Yem, Cao Chi.

The Sky and Stars Lover's Dictionary is a book for people who want to explore the sky and stars, but don't necessarily have the scientific baggage of an expert.
