Competition for composing media products on protecting the Party's ideological foundation

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024) and the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh 's Testament (1969 - 2024).

The contest for composing media products on protecting the Party's ideological foundation was organized by the Youth Union of Central Agencies for the first time in 2023 with the aim of continuing to affirm the important role of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness, responsibility and actions of the Youth Union organization, members and youth in the Bloc with the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Regarding the competition, Secretary of the Central Agencies' Youth Union Bui Hoang Tung said: The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation is both a regular task and an urgent requirement, requiring a sense of responsibility from the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people. Upholding the pioneering and pioneering role of the youth, in recent times, together with the youth of the whole country, the youth of the Central Agencies' Youth Union have been actively implementing the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation with many synchronous and effective solutions, in which the competition to create communication products on protecting the Party's ideological foundation is considered one of the creative ways, bringing practical results.

In its second edition, the contest has had a strong and widespread influence among the Youth Union organizations and members, and youth in the Bloc. This year, the Organizing Committee of the contest received 193 entries in both categories: Infographic and Video from the Youth Union organizations under the Bloc, increasing in both quantity and quality compared to 2023.

"The entries have closely followed the content orientation of the contest with many innovations in the selection of issues, in the approach to young people, taking advantage of and promoting the advantages of modern media in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation. Thanks to that, the contents related to protecting, applying and developing Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought in the new situation... as well as identifying, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views... have been perceived by union members and youth in the Central Agencies Bloc more seriously and responsibly in organizing and implementing" - Mr. Bui Hoang Tung said.

First prize for outstanding work in the Infographic category

After 02 preliminary and final rounds, the Organizing Committee selected and awarded prizes to 23 best works in 2 categories of Infographic and Video. In which, the Infographic category includes: 01 first prize, 02 second prizes, 03 third prizes, 05 consolation prizes and the Video category includes: 01 first prize, 02 second prizes, 03 third prizes, 06 consolation prizes. At the same time, 02 collective prizes were also awarded to 02 units with the most participating entries: the Ministry of Transport Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Youth Union.

On this occasion, the Central Agencies' Union also organized a political activity program with the theme "Remembering Uncle Ho - Our hearts are brighter", commemorating the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament through a short play on the theme of Uncle Ho called "Bright Eyes".

Speaking at the program, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Nguyen Van The highly appreciated the innovation of the Youth Union of the Central Agencies Bloc in organizing the political activity "Remembering Uncle Ho - Our hearts are brighter" in the form of dramatization with the play "Bright eyes" and hoped that the Youth Union of the Bloc would spread and deploy synchronously and widely the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in each member of the Bloc.

At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van The also expressed his joy at the success of the 2nd Media Product Creation Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2024.
