The Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) has just coordinated with YouTube and MCV Group to officially launch a tourism video creation contest on YouTube Shorts with the theme "Vietnam: Travel to love!"
Spreading the image of Vietnam and its people to tourists
The program was held to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Tourism Industry, an important milestone marking the strong development journey of the industry.
This is not only an opportunity to look back on the past, but also an opportunity to arouse pride, innovation and creativity, together aiming to create a professional, modern, sustainable and unique tourism industry.
The contest is also a practical activity in response to the 2025 Tourism Development Stimulus Program launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Through the contest, we aim to promote digital communication, spread the image of Vietnam and its people to domestic and foreign tourists with a modern approach, suitable for new trends.
Taking place over 3 months, with the message "Go to chill, feel to love", the contest inspires the passion to explore, enjoy and record the beauty of Vietnam in each individual's own way.
From majestic natural scenery, vast islands, cultural heritage, unique regional cuisine to daily life and the friendliness and hospitality of Vietnamese people, all can become materials to create vivid, familiar and inspiring works...
With a total prize value of over 100 million VND, the contest is expected to attract thousands of video entries from all over the country.
Videos can be presented in English or with English subtitles to enhance accessibility to international audiences. In addition to valuable prizes, outstanding works have the opportunity to be introduced on the official YouTube channel of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
Promote Vietnam tourism image through personal experiences and perspectives
Mr. Hoang Quoc Hoa, Director of the Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism), said: "The YouTube Shorts tourism video creation contest with the theme "Vietnam: Travel to love!" is not only a playground for the community of travel enthusiasts and digital content creators, but also an effort of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to enhance the application of technology and digital transformation to support tourism promotion.
With the strong spread of the global online platform YouTube, we expect people, especially young people and content creators, to actively participate in promoting the image of Vietnamese tourism through their own experiences and perspectives."
The contest is expected to contribute to attracting domestic and international tourists.
Ms. Do Thi Duyen, Director of Networks - Digital Director of MCV Group, said: "With experience in organizing large-scale communication campaigns and a network of more than 2,100 multi-platform content channels, we believe the contest will reach a wide audience at home and abroad.
"Vietnam: Go to love!" is not only a communication campaign, but also an emotional bridge, arousing national pride and love for the homeland in the most intimate and authentic way. It is expected to contribute to attracting domestic and international tourists while promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam's tourism industry."
