Saving an old woman with a large tumor pressing on her heart and lungs

This tumor is up to 15x8 cm in size, larger than 1/3 of the lung, causing respiratory failure.

Doctors from the General Oncology Department performed surgery and removed the tumor within 3 hours.

Dr. Dang Nguyen Kha, Head of the General Oncology Department, said this was a rare case where the patient's tumor was too large, causing compression of the lungs, heart, and arteries, making the surgery complicated. Currently, the patient's health is recovering well and he can be discharged soon.
