“At that time, land was still cheap, the family bought 20 hectares of reclaimed land in Ea Nam commune, and started farming in a short-term way. Initially, he planted short-term crops, then learned, researched and planted perennial industrial crops such as coffee, rubber... Thanks to the application of science and technology in production, he achieved productivity in terms of output and quality,” Mr. Khanh shared.

In addition to developing the family economy, he shares his farming experience with the people. He enthusiastically guides the villagers in techniques for planting and caring for industrial and fruit trees. To provide a place for the villagers to live, he also voluntarily donated 1 sao of his family's land to build a village hall.

Having participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country, and suffered from the pain of illness caused by Agent Orange, Mr. Tung has always been optimistic. Mr. Tung shared that fate has not been lucky for him, so he must strive to build a life for his children and grandchildren to follow.

On 2 hectares of farmland that his family had saved up to buy, Mr. Tung chose coffee as the main crop, then borrowed capital to intercrop other crops such as pepper, areca, avocado... He worked hard to learn, applied science and technology to renovate the garden, and took care of the trees, so the garden grew well, bringing high economic efficiency.
