The Department of Information and Communications Technology Industry (Ministry of Information and Communications) in collaboration with the Vietnam Association for Information Technology has just announced the report on the Readiness Index for the Development and Application of Information and Communications Technology in Vietnam (ICT Index) in 2022.
Accordingly, Da Nang continues to lead with 0.9094/1 point. The next rankings belong to Can Tho, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien Hue, Bac Giang respectively.
Da Nang continues to lead the Vietnam ICT Index.
The component indexes that Da Nang achieved include: Technical infrastructure index 0.97 points, human resource infrastructure 0.77 points, information technology application 0.77 points.
In the technical infrastructure index of Da Nang, the technical - social infrastructure index is 0.9308 points (3/63 provinces and cities) and the technical infrastructure index - state agencies is 1 point (1/63 provinces and cities).
In Da Nang's human infrastructure index, the human - social infrastructure index is 0.9706 points (2/63 provinces and cities) and the human - state agency infrastructure index is 0.5753 points (4/63 provinces and cities).
In addition, in the information technology application index of Da Nang, the internal information technology application index of state agencies is 1 point (1/63 provinces and cities) and the online public service index is 0.98 points (2/63 provinces and cities).
At the same time, Da Nang ranked 6th in the information technology industry index with 0.0844 points.
This is the 13th consecutive time that Da Nang has led the country in the ICT Index.
It is known that the report on ICT Index has been conducted over 16 years. The report provides assessments and rankings on the level of readiness for the development and application of information and communication technology based on data collected from the following groups: ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies; provinces, centrally run cities; economic groups, corporations and commercial banks.
