Da Nang joins hands with two technology giants Marvell and FPT

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the city's strategic goal by 2030 is to become one of the three major centers in Vietnam for semiconductor design and artificial intelligence application development. Increase to at least 30 semiconductor design and design service enterprises. Strive to attract at least 1-2 packaging and testing enterprises.

According to the commitment of FPT Corporation: The enterprise will support the city with software, hardware, human resource training and content to develop semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence, and long-term development in the city for a minimum of 5 years.

Attracting FPT Corporation to set up an office in the Danang Software Park Information Technology Zone is in line with the city's strategic goal of developing the microchip industry.

As for Marvell Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd.:

According to the commitment, the enterprise will support the city with software, hardware, human resource training and content to develop semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence, and long-term development in the city for a minimum of 5 years...

This is the result of a process of contact, exchange and work between Da Nang leaders and partners and large technology corporations in semiconductor microchips.

This is also the enterprise that the City People's Committee signed a strategic partnership memorandum of understanding with on January 16, 2025.

Da Nang hopes that the recognition of Marvell Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a branch of Marvell Technology, Inc., headquartered in the US) as the first foreign-invested strategic partner will pave the way, encourage and create confidence for subsequent foreign-invested enterprises.
