On December 15th, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches announced that its staff had assisted a female tourist in recovering valuable belongings she had lost on the beach, contributing to building a friendly and safe image for local tourism.

Earlier, at around 5:00 AM on December 14th, Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Linh approached the Da Nang City Tourism Order Management Team for assistance. She stated that she had dropped a 2-tael gold ring, worth approximately 30 million VND, at 9:00 PM on December 13th while strolling on the beach in front of the East Sea Park.

Despite searching for hours with her family without success, Ms. Linh approached the authorities with a glimmer of hope. It is known that the ring was a memento given to her by her mother during her engagement ceremony, holding great sentimental value for her.

Search efforts in the night

Upon receiving the information, Mr. Ho Thang Tuoi, the staff member on duty at the time, contacted two colleagues, Mr. Phan Thanh Trinh and Mr. Pham Nhu Dong, to organize a search. Although on leave, Mr. Trinh, who had experience searching for metal objects on the beach, immediately came to assist.

On the morning of December 14th, after nearly an hour of using specialized metal detectors, the team discovered the ring buried deep under the sand. By over 6 am, the property had been found and returned to the female tourist.
