The city has identified the theme for its 2026 tourism campaign as "New Da Nang - New Experiences," focusing on refreshing its image and expanding its tourism offerings and products. To anticipate the surge in tourist arrivals to Da Nang in 2026, as well as planned activities and events, the city's tourism sector regularly organizes professional training courses to enhance the skills of its workforce.
The Da Nang Hotel Association, in collaboration with Thanh Binh Trade Union Hotel, recently organized a training course on "Application of AI in Sales, Marketing & OTA Strategies to Maximize Revenue" and "Professional Culinary Service" for 2025. At this event, members were equipped with additional skills and expertise to serve tourists in the current competitive tourist destination environment.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Chairman of the Da Nang Hotel Association, shared that this year the program has received widespread support from the business community. This shows the need for breakthroughs in training digital skills, applying AI, and improving culinary service skills for the workforce in Da Nang's tourism industry.
“Training and upgrading the skills and qualifications of high-quality human resources for the tourism, restaurant, and hotel industry is one of the important annual activities of the Da Nang Hotel Association. This is identified as a key task in the association's action strategy for the 2025-2030 term,” Mr. Quynh said.

Intensive training, preparing for the new tourist season.
Along with hotel industry personnel, service workers also regularly receive training to enhance their skills. At a training course on cultural knowledge and skills for members of the tourist cyclo team and staff of the Tourist Support Center (under the City Tourism Promotion Center), Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thinh, Team Leader of the Da Nang tourist cyclo team, said that through these training courses, team members gain more knowledge and improve their language skills… thereby contributing to improving the quality of service and the image of the city as a tourist destination.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, the cyclo tour experience is attracting the attention of tourists, especially international visitors, who appreciate its uniqueness due to its traditional, friendly nature and its ability to offer an intimate glimpse into the rhythm of life in Da Nang. To expand market reach, the Da Nang cyclo tour product has been listed on various online travel agencies (OTAs) such as Klook, GetYourGuide, and Kkday… to attract the attention of international tourists.
Therefore, anticipating this influx of tourists, the center organizes training and skill-building activities to help service workers communicate better and provide more friendly and professional experiences for visitors.
In the coming period, the Tourism Promotion Center will coordinate with service providers to develop new cyclo tour products aimed at enhancing the experience and quality of the product for tourists. In addition, it will continue to focus on training foreign languages, service skills, and cultural knowledge for its staff to better meet the needs of international tourists.
The city's tourism sector continues to promote in-depth training and workshops on travel management, tour guiding, digital transformation, and improving the quality of service for tourists. This contributes to building a professional tourism workforce, meeting the requirements of sustainable development and integration of the city.
