Da Nang announces series of tourism events Enjoy Summer

Wow Da Nang Festival with a series of 11 activities takes place from July 28 to August 1 at tourist beaches and Son Tra peninsula.

Leaders of Da Nang City People's Committee and Department of Tourism informed about the series of events.

On the afternoon of July 4, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City announced the series of programs for the Da Nang Summer Enjoyment Festival 2023 - Wow Da Nang. The program includes 11 activities taking place from July 28 to August 1.

Within the framework of the event, the Danang Summer Enjoyment Music Night 2023 opened at 7:30 p.m. on July 28 at the East Sea Park with a scale of more than 5,000 guests. On this occasion, there was also a Vietnamese - International Food Festival with more than 50 booths of local, regional and international cuisine.

At the East Sea Park, there will be an art kite performance (from July 28 to July 30) with the appearance of more than 30 aerodynamic kites, uniquely shaped flute kites and paragliding performances along the coast; the Flashmob Zumba (July 30) and Flashmob Bikini kids (July 28) will bring a vibrant atmosphere with Zumba dance.

Wow Da Nang event will take place with many exciting activities.

The Da Nang City Open Paragliding Competition took place from July 29 to July 30 at Ban Co Peak, Son Tra Peninsula and Man Thai Beach, Pham Van Dong Beach with the participation of 100 professional paragliding clubs.

At Ha Khe Sea Park, many exciting entertainment and recreation activities took place during the Sea Festival (July 29). At Nam Xuan Thieu beach, there was the program of the "Blue Ocean" Marine Environment Protection Festival.

In addition, from 7pm every weekend night, street art shows take place on both sides of the Han River.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ngo Thi Kim Yen emphasized: "Wow Da Nang is an annual event to diversify and promote marine tourism products to attract domestic and foreign tourists, support businesses, and contribute to making Da Nang a leading destination in Asia."
