At Duy Tan University, students were present early in the hall waiting to board the bus to the wards and communes. Not only supporting the community in the digital transformation process, they also see this as an opportunity to mature, confidently integrate and spread the spirit of dedication of youth.
Student Gia Bao shared: "For me, this is a very meaningful and rare activity, not only to help people access public services, but also an opportunity to practice information technology knowledge, especially in using virtual assistants and artificial intelligence to serve life."
Student Phan Nguyen Anh Thu volunteered to support Tra Van commune, sharing: "Our preparation is not material, but youth, enthusiasm and the desire to contribute. The country is in the digital transformation stage, that is our forte. We want to contribute our youth to the development of the city and the country."

At Duy Tan University, this time there were 57 volunteer students, mostly IT students, participating in support in 29 communes and wards in Da Nang. Including remote, isolated, border areas such as Son Hung, La Nhat, Tra Linh, Tam Hiep island commune. Before the campaign, the volunteers underwent 5 professional training sessions, were instructed in skills and equipped with necessary knowledge.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang city, said that on August 18, 105 university students majoring in information technology from universities in Da Nang set out to 44 communes and wards to begin assisting people in handling administrative procedures.

According to the plan to organize student volunteers to support technology application and digital transformation in wards and communes issued by the People's Committee of Da Nang City, sending students to communes aims to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation to serve the activities of local governments at two levels; especially providing and handling administrative procedures for people and businesses. Initial statistics show that 69 wards and communes need support from students in the information technology industry.
Over the past few days, the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City has coordinated with schools such as Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications (VKU),FPT University, and Duy Tan University to plan, list, and select 105 students to go to 44 communes and wards in the first batch.

After returning to their localities, students will assist staff in handling technical problems with working equipment such as computers, printers, and networks; provide instructions on how to use management software, online public service systems, and popular AI tools in administrative work;
In addition, support people to use devices at public administrative centers; support online application submission, result lookup; use personal digital signatures and digital platforms of the city such as Danang Smart City, VNeID...; utility applications, AI technology applications for businesses and people.
