According to the plan, the peak period aims to reduce at least 10% of criminal cases, especially theft, pickpocketing, robbery, intentional injury, and property damage. In particular, street crime strives to reduce by 50% compared to the same period. The rate of investigation and discovery of cases is targeted to reach over 80%; very serious and especially serious cases reach 95%.

The police force will increase patrols and checkpoints from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. the next morning on key routes such as Bach Dang, Tran Phu, 2-9, Le Duan, Dien Bien Phu, Hai Van Pass... In addition, 100% of subjects under management will be checked, tested for drugs and sign a commitment not to re-offend.

The city police also set a target of reducing traffic accidents by 10% in all three criteria (number of cases, number of deaths, number of injuries), while preventing illegal racing, the use of shisha, laughing gas in public places and social evils.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh emphasized: The police force needs to closely follow the area, clearly identify high-risk groups to proactively prevent and handle them. At the same time, mobilize the coordination of the entire political system to eliminate the causes of crime, maintain security and order, and build the image of a safe, civilized, and livable city.
