According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, in the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movements of the industry have taken place vigorously, spreading widely, contributing to creating a strong driving force to promote the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to enthusiastically contribute, thereby achieving many comprehensive achievements in all fields.
Many practical emulation movements, associated with key tasks, have been deployed such as: the movement "Cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers compete to practice office culture", the emulation movement in organizing the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), or the movement "Enterprises and units compete to contribute to the development of the city's tourism industry".
Thereby, Da Nang maintained its position as the leading tourist destination in the country, strongly recovered after the pandemic, the growth rate of staying guests doubled the set target, and the tourism brand was affirmed through many prestigious international awards.
Along with professional tasks, the industry also focuses on community movements. In 5 years, the industry has mobilized more than 1.85 billion VND to support poor families, dropout students, build new rural areas, help people in flood-hit areas, and participate in many welfare and social security funds of the city.
In particular, the discovery, training and replication of advanced models have increasingly seen positive changes. The examples of artists, athletes, coaches, groups and individuals in many fields have been recognized, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere.
On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism commended and rewarded 6 collectives and 128 typical advanced individuals in the emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.
Towards the 2025-2030 period, the city's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism continues to launch new emulation movements, focusing on successfully completing political tasks, programs and plans, determined to bring cultural, sports and tourism activities to many great achievements, making practical contributions to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
The reward work will be innovated towards openness, transparency, fairness and timeliness, focusing on rewarding individuals who directly perform the tasks. The industry will also promote administrative procedure reform, apply information technology in management, archive reward records, and move towards building a modern and synchronous database.
The industry also strives for tourism to continue to affirm its position as a "bright spot in the city's economic development" in the coming period.
