Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Cho Ra town and Banh Trach commune

BBK - On the morning of June 11, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Banh Trach commune, the delegation of the People's Council of Bac Kan province met with voters of Banh Trach commune and Cho Ra town before the 30th session (regular session) of the People's Council of the 10th term, 2021 - 2026. Delegates Cao Minh Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the province; Nguyen Thi Hong Van, Head of the Department of Home Affairs of Ba Be district chaired.

Also attending were Mr. Trieu Duc Van, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, member of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Ba Be District People's Committee.

Delegate Cao Minh Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Bac Kan province, received opinions and recommendations from voters at the meeting.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council delegates briefly reported on the results of the 10th Provincial People's Council sessions in the first 6 months of 2025; announced the expected time and content of the 30th Session (regular session) of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026; and reported on the synthesis of responses to voters' opinions and recommendations after the 24th Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council.

After listening to the report, voters raised 07 opinions, notably: Banh Trach commune reported that the road from Na Lan village to Pac Cham village was cracked and at risk of landslides into Nang river, the competent authorities need to promptly consider and find solutions to fix it. The sand mining in Pac Cham village has not been agreed by the people yet, but the enterprise has organized the exploitation, requesting the competent authorities to consider stopping the exploitation. Currently, some rural traffic routes are degraded or have landslides, so measures need to be taken to fix them so that people can travel conveniently.

Voters of Na Coi village, Banh Trach commune expressed their opinions at the meeting.

Voters of Cho Ra town expressed their opinions that currently in sub-zones 5 and 7, Ta Nghe stream water often overflows behind the houses of the residential area when there is heavy rain. The reason is that the construction of the embankment here has buried the stream, blocking the flow. It is requested that the competent authorities consider and remedy the situation. The construction of the embankment project on the river section through Thuong Giao commune and Cho Ra town has caused riverbank erosion and affected the people's production land.

Voters of Bang Trach commune hope that landslides on inter-village and inter-commune roads will be repaired soon so that people can travel conveniently.

At the meeting, local government representatives basically responded to the opinions and recommendations of the people under their authority. Other opinions were accepted by the provincial People's Council delegates to be forwarded to the competent authority to respond to voters in the coming time./.
