Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Thuong Giao and Khang Ninh communes

Co-chairing the meeting were delegates: La Van Hao, former Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Nguyen Ngoc Son, Director of the Department of Education and Training; Trieu Thi Thuy, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union; Dam Thi Hao, Head of the Justice Department of Ba Be District. Also attending were comrade Tac Van Nam, Director of the Department of Health, member of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the Ba Be District leadership.

Voters expressed their opinions and recommendations to provincial People's Council delegates.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council delegates briefly reported on the results of the 10th Provincial People's Council sessions in the first 6 months of 2025; announced the expected time and content of the 30th Session (regular session) of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026; and reported on the synthesis of responses to voters' opinions and recommendations after the 24th Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council.

After listening to the report, voters of Khang Ninh commune raised a number of opinions and recommendations such as: Soldier Duong Quang Truong, Pac Nghe village, Khang Ninh commune, enlisted in February 2024, stationed at Brigade 575, Military Region I, but up to now, his relatives have not received health insurance cards according to regulations, requesting competent authorities to consider.

Voters in Thuong Giao commune proposed to reduce the health insurance premium for Kinh people living in difficult areas in Ba Be district, because the current premium is very high compared to their income. Some households in Na Che village, Thuong Giao commune said that the power lines leading to their houses are weak and not strong enough to use the rice milling machine, and requested that the competent authorities consult with the electricity sector to consider helping the people. Currently, the inter-village road from National Highway 279 to Na Han, Na Sam, and Khuoi Slun villages has seriously degraded. It is requested that the competent authorities consider upgrading and repairing it to make it easier for people to travel.

At the meeting, local government representatives basically responded to the opinions and recommendations of the people under their authority. Other opinions were accepted by the provincial People's Council delegates and forwarded to the competent authority to respond to voters in the coming time./.
