The 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025-2030, was attended by 300 official delegates, who are typical party members representing 2,804 party members currently active in 11 party committees under the National Assembly Party Committee, including: 41 ex-officio delegates and 259 delegates appointed by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee.

The Congress has the theme "Building a clean and strong Party organization in all aspects; leading the National Assembly to strongly innovate, improve the quality and efficiency of operations, and firmly step into the era of prosperous, prosperous, civilized and happy development of the nation".

Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha said that the draft Report closely followed the draft Political Report submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, the practical situation of the country in the past term as well as the organization and operation of the National Assembly Party Committee on the basis of inheriting the functions and tasks of the National Assembly Party Delegation, the Party Committee of the National Assembly Office, the Party Personnel Committee of the State Audit, the Party Committee of the State Audit in the spirit of correct, accurate, objective, transparent assessment, looking straight at the truth about the results achieved, limitations, shortcomings and causes in the organization and operation of the National Assembly Party Committee, the National Assembly, the agencies of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, the State Audit. On that basis, the Report sets out specific directions, goals and targets; puts forward 4 pillars of development breakthroughs for the coming term to propose 11 groups of tasks and solutions.

The process of receiving opinions was directed by the National Assembly Party Committee to be carried out seriously in the spirit of openness, absorbing the majority of comments to complete the draft Political Report of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term to be submitted to the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Up to now, the draft Political Report consists of 2 main parts, 33 pages long with 64 notes to clarify the comments and assessments in the Report.

The presentations at the preparatory session of the Congress contributed many contents, including suggestions to create a strong change in improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots party organizations and the quality of party members at the National Assembly Party Committee, creating a solid foundation to ensure the successful implementation of all political tasks of the National Assembly Party Committee. Continue to strongly, comprehensively and more substantially innovate people's petition and supervision work. Innovate the methods and processes of deciding on important issues, moving from passive to proactive, responding quickly to emerging situations, improving the quality of forecasting, promoting the application of digital technology in the coordination process and policy implementation.

Speaking at the end of the preparatory session of the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man acknowledged and highly appreciated the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee; the advisory and support agencies of the National Assembly Party Committee; the Congress's sub-committees; the affiliated Party Committees and all cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees and workers of the National Assembly agencies, the National Assembly Office and the State Audit Office for their active participation in preparing and serving the Congress.
