Speaking at the congress, on behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of An Giang province Nguyen Thong Nhat acknowledged and commended the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Lam commune in the past time, striving to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress with many outstanding and quite comprehensive marks in many fields.

Comrade Nguyen Thong Nhat suggested that the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Lam commune continue to consider building and rectifying the Party and the political system as key tasks in the coming time. Developing high-value agricultural economy, applying technology, restructuring the industry, consolidating cooperatives, improving product consumption links. Investing in socio-economic infrastructure, managing planning, land use and administrative reform, attracting investment, supporting local enterprises.

Developing small-scale industry, trade, and services; controlling the market, stabilizing prices, encouraging technological innovation, and digital transformation. Improving the quality of education , healthcare, and vocational training, ensuring social security, sustainable poverty reduction, applying science and technology, and digital infrastructure. Protecting the environment, managing resources, preventing and combating natural disasters, and responding to climate change; promoting cultural values, physical education, sports, and spiritual life...

The Congress agreed to set out 15 main targets; in which, the average growth rate of total product value in the area is 8%/year, total social investment capital in the period of 2026 - 2030 is 6,300 billion VND.

Average income per capita by 2030 is 70 million VND. The rate of poor households according to multidimensional poverty standards by 2030 is below 2%. The rate of people participating in health insurance is over 97%. The satisfaction index of people when coming to public administrative service centers is over 95%...

Delegates voted to pass the Congress Resolution.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint 33 comrades to join the Executive Committee of Phu Lam Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee has 11 comrades. Comrade Vo Minh Luan was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Phu Lam Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
