Presented 26 motorbikes to the Military Command of the commune in defense area 5

On August 31, the Party Committee and Defense Command of Region 5 - An Bien (An Giang province) held a handover ceremony of 26 motorbikes to the Military Commands of communes in the area.

This is a distribution phase according to the policy of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to strengthen means to serve defense and military tasks at the grassroots level. Defense Zone 5 - An Bien has 13 communes, including: An Bien, Tay Yen, Dong Thai, Dong Hoa, Tan Thanh, An Minh, Dong Hung, Van Khanh, U Minh Thuong, Vinh Hoa, Vinh Binh, Vinh Phong and Vinh Thuan.

Each Commune Military Command received 2 vehicles. The assigned vehicle is a Honda Wave Alpha motorbike with features suitable for the area, high durability, easy to use, convenient for patrolling, controlling and mobilizing the masses.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Anh Nguyen, Commander of the Defense Command of Region 5, presented vehicles to the Military Commands of communes in the area.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Anh Nguyen, Commander of the Defense Command of Region 5, said that the Commune Military Command is the core force in local defense and military work, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety. Being equipped with mobile vehicles will help grassroots units improve their ability to handle situations, promptly respond to sudden and unexpected situations, and build an increasingly strong and widespread militia and self-defense force.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Anh Nguyen requested that units assigned vehicles must manage and use the vehicles effectively, in accordance with regulations, ensuring safety and economy; consider them as valuable common assets of the unit, regularly preserve and maintain them, and absolutely not use them for personal purposes.
