At the exhibition, An Giang province dedicated a space to display images of photographers, photographers, journalists... capturing the moments when Party and State leaders visited and worked in Kien Giang province (formerly) and An Giang (before and after the merger), important historical celebrations, and scenes of labor and production of the people... All of them suggest a journey of continuous development.

Not only introducing the perspective from the art world, the exhibition also received the attention of many people and tourists. Among the visitors, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, residing in Ben Thanh Ward (Ho Chi Minh City) said: "An Giang has a special geostrategic position, converging plains, mountains, seas, islands, and borders. The images at the exhibition help us clearly see the great potential of high-tech agriculture, marine economy, logistics and especially high-quality marine tourism".

Photographer Nguyen Huu Dinh, Vice Chairman of the An Giang Province Literature and Arts Association, who has many works participating in the exhibition, said: “Photography is not only an art but also a means of recording history, reflecting the transformation of the homeland. Through each frame, we hope the public can feel the richness of nature, the diverse cultural identity and the strong spirit of An Giang”.

Tourists view pictures of intangible cultural heritages of An Giang province.

Images of key projects and works of An Giang province, offshore electricity reaching out to sea or the new administrative map of the province with 102 communes, wards, special zones... are displayed and introduced quite eye-catchingly, showing the remarkable development in infrastructure, organization and management. This is vivid evidence of the determination to innovate and affirm the position of An Giang on the national map.

Promote potential and aspirations to reach far

Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho emphasized: "For the exhibition of 80 years of achievements in socio-economic development of the country, An Giang participates with high determination, bringing its own identity. Through the exhibition, we introduce and promote the image of the homeland, people and culture of An Giang province, especially the revolutionary fighting tradition of the Party Committee, government and people of the province. With the convergence at the exhibition, we hope to convey the diversity and richness of ethnicity, culture, as well as the process of economic and social development of An Giang over the past many years".

The exhibition space of An Giang province focuses on the message “An Giang - One vision, One action, One belief” and images reflecting the comprehensive development journey of the locality.

Not only people in big cities, many tourists from far away provinces are also particularly interested in An Giang's exhibition booth. Stopping for a long time in front of the photos of Phu Quoc, Ms. Tran Thi Lan, a resident of Truong Lam commune (Thanh Hoa) said: "Through the exhibition, I clearly see that An Giang is not only rich in tradition but also striving to integrate. The images of infrastructure, airports, urban areas and especially Phu Quoc - the largest island in Vietnam, chosen to host APEC 2027, have given me the belief that An Giang is truly affirming its position on the national and international map. That is also the common pride of the whole country".
